Dear Stephen, You are right, Osho’s whole point, missed by most, is that “helping the poor” — making them “blessed” as the Christians propose — supports the status quo. We can all feel good by “serving” them, and in the process avoid the real issue: getting rid of poverty! So, it just continues, century after century… but at least we can go to heaven as a reward for serving them. That is the real hoodwinking, but hardly anyone notices.
